Coaching for men who refuse to settle

For driven Christian men who aren't where they want to be in their personal and emotional lives — and are ready to change that.

This is for you if...

  • You're successful on paper but disconnected at home
  • You numb out with distraction instead of facing what needs to change
  • You want to be a better husband and father without sacrificing your professional edge
  • You're ready for honest conversations, real accountability, and practical frameworks
  • You believe faith and discipline belong in the same conversation

What you'll build

Confidence rooted in identity

Stop performing. Start becoming. Reconnect with who God created you to be.

Strength in every domain

Physical health, emotional clarity, spiritual power — integrated, not compartmentalized.

Leadership that starts at home

Better husband. Better father. Better man — in that order of priority.

Peace without quitting

Learn to win without losing yourself. Performance and presence aren't enemies.

How it works

01

Free 30-minute intro call

No pressure. No pitch. Just an honest conversation to see if this is the right fit for both of us.

02

Personalized path

We identify where you're stuck, what you're avoiding, and what becoming a Man of the Mountain looks like for you.

03

Accountability that sticks

Consistent focus, honest check-ins, and practical frameworks — not flashy tactics that fade in a week.

What makes this different

Many coaching programs are self-centered — focused only on how you feel. Men of the Mountain Coaching exists to support men in building themselves in a way that changes how they lead their families. You have the power to break generational cycles of pain, resentment, and shame. That's not abstract. That's the work.

What clients say

Honest feedback from men who've done the work.

When I was introduced to John, I didn't realize how poorly I was managing myself and my life. I was just going through the motions, directionless and purposeless. John helped me find purpose and his program helped me retake control of all the little decisions in my life, to take accountability for them. He helped me get back on a path to make choices that bring real happiness.

Keegan Morby, CPA

Coaching client

He has a strong ability to keep me accountable to the goals I set while also helping me slow down and get clear on what I actually want in life. It doesn't take flashy tactics or overly complicated strategies to create meaningful change. What drives real progress is consistent focus, honest conversations, and practical frameworks — and that's exactly what John brings.

Matt Harris

Coaching client

One client played Xbox every night for years. Not because he loved gaming. Because it was easier than facing the version of himself he knew needed to change. Three months in, he's gotten rid of the Xbox and started writing. Last week: 'I can finally sit in silence without being afraid of the emotional noise.'

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be LDS or a specific denomination?

This coaching is rooted in Christian faith and scripture. You don't need to share every detail of my background, but a willingness to engage with faith as part of your growth is essential to the work we do.

How much time does coaching require?

Most clients commit to regular sessions plus daily practices that fit their schedule. The intro call is 30 minutes — we'll discuss what ongoing commitment looks like if we're a good fit.

Is coaching in person or online?

Sessions are conducted online, making it accessible wherever you are. The principles we work on apply whether you're in Utah or across the country.

Is everything confidential?

Absolutely. What you share in coaching stays between us. This is a safe space for the honest conversations you've been avoiding.

What happens after the free intro session?

If we're aligned, we'll discuss coaching packages and next steps on the call. There's no obligation — the intro session exists so you can decide if this is right for you.

What if I'm dealing with addiction or deep shame?

You're not alone, and you're not broken beyond repair. Many men come to this work carrying battles with porn, emotional eating, low confidence, or the pain of feeling stuck. We face it together — with truth, not judgment.
